The first time meeting Tien Chia was great! She made us feel so comfortable and listened to all our needs and wants. She kept up the communications and always checked in with us. When the time our wedding came around, she continued to support us in navigating the highs of the day. She navigated the chaos of our photo time with ease and made our families comfortable as well. Highly recommended!! My partner and I discovered Tien Chia's work from a proposal photoshoot she did for a friend of mine. The photos she took really captured the joy and sweetness of the proposal, we knew then we wanted to work with her for our own couple photoshoot 😊

The quality and variety of photos has exceeded our expectations at each photoshoot we've had with her. Plus, Tien Chia is an absolute joy to work with - flexible, patient, extremely talented, humble, professional, efficient, kind-hearted, and great with kids! The newborn photos she took of our daughter are so precious and beautiful. The family and holiday photos she has captured of us with our children each year are gorgeous and will be cherished forever.
She has a real eye for the perfect shot, the charm to get all photo subjects to participate happily (including newborns, children, cats, and adults who aren't so keen on being in photos), and the skill to get the right balance and composition every time. We chose Tien Chia to shoot both our Nikah day and wedding ceremony. We had seen a couple photos she took of others that captured movement and candidness and we wanted the same for our photos (both of us are very awkward in front of the camera if asked to pose). We had a pleasant time working with Tien Chia. She took time out before the event day to ask about the flow of event and what were some things we wanted to be captured. Which reassured us that she would be able to visualise what we wanted. We were very pleased with the outcomes. She managed to capture all the details and different angles, as well as the ambience/mood of the day.
We could really see memories through the photos. One thing that stood out working with her was that it was easy. She worked a lot with our time and how we were feeling in the moment. Never forcing us to do something we weren’t comfortable. Safe to say she allowed us to be ourselves.

We were impressed by her ability to give prompts and create a comfortable space to capture natural poses, even from the most camera-shy family members (including the bride, oops!). Tien Chia has a welcoming energy that made us feel as though a close friend was behind the lens (which really helped me A LOT). The candid photos are our absolute favorites! They are very heartwarming and genuine. Our guests also provided positive feedback on Tien Chia and her partner’s delightful personalities. Despite the (melting) heat during our garden ceremony, they remained focused, skillfully capturing every cherished moment (like snipers).
For those looking for a photographer who is willing to go the extra mile (such as removing bugs from your wedding dress with bare hands just to ensure the perfect shot), Tien Chia is the one to find!
